Thanks to a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, I decided to visit Delray Beach which I had not visited since the early 1980’s. I was impressed with the downtown area and the beach. There are a number of fun restaurants to choose from. My recommendations include:

City Oyster & Sushi Bar: At 213 East Atlantic Ave., this is a great spot for lunch as it has a large outdoor seating area. Thanks to a local friend, I enjoyed the restaurant and had a very good bento box with sushi, shashimi and a California roll. In addition to sushi, they also have sandwiches, salads, seafood and a raw bar.
