Edinburgh is a fun, exciting city to visit. You will enjoy the wonderful old architecture plus some of the interesting new architecture that is springing up all over the city. The Scottish Storytelling Centre, next to the John Knox House on High Street, is a great example as is the Scottish Parliament building, that opened in October 2004 and is across from the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The contemporary building was designed by Enric Miralles.
