From downtown hotels and B&Bs to B&Bs dotting the wine country, there are many options to stay while visiting Charlottesville. Our tops finds include:
Arcady Vineyard B&B: Located 5 minutes from Monticello, this is a lovely, secluded B&B overlooking their own vineyard. The four rooms are beautifully done and they include a bottle of sparkling wine, fresh flowers, chocolate and port. I really enjoyed the Baron’s room and the tasty breakfast!
If you want to stay in town, the Graduate Hotel is a good option. I have stayed in their Madison, WI hotel. The Charlottesville location is at 1309 W. Main, across from the University of Virginia and just west of downtown.
A luxury option is Keswick Hall and Golf Resort, which is a luxury resort located on 600 acres east of Charlottesville. There are 48 luxury guest rooms, several dining options, golf and a luxury spa.
The Inn at the Crossroads: This is an historic inn built in 1820. It is listed on the National Historic Register and has been designated a Virginia Historic Landmark.
