There are many more stores in Prague now than there were on my first trip in 2000, including many upscale boutiques from Prada to Tiffany and Burberry. I really enjoyed these new finds:

Kubista: At Ovocny trh 19, this is a beautiful store specializing in art deco and Czech cubist period designs from around 1910. They feature, jewelry, glass and ceramics, and books about the period. The items are both original and replicas. It is located in the famous building by Josef Gocar in the Czech Cubist style.

Lavmi: This is a great store featuring contemporary Czech textiles that look very mid-century from the 1950’s. You will find table cloths and runners, pillows, bedding, wallpaper and more. Zlatnicka 12.

Bohemia Paper: Right on the north side of the square is Bohemia Paper which has some beautiful notes and stationary.
