Lenox has some great resorts, inns and charming B&Bs. I recommend staying in town so you can easily walk to the downtown restaurants and shops.  My recent finds include:

Kemble Inn: This is a really stunning property at 2 Kemble St., right on the edge of downtown Lenox, which make it a great spot to walk to shops and restaurants. Their Table Six restaurant has incredible views of the surrounding mountains. They offer al fresco dining, a prix fixe dinner menu, a summer small plates menu and a Sunday Brunch. All are open to the public.

Hampton Terrace: I enjoyed my two night stay at this popular fourteen room B&B in the heart of Lenox. It was great being able to walk downtown for dinner or shopping. The inn is located in a mansion and carriage house from 1897 and is beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were very good and the owner most helpful, particularly in helping with restaurant recommendations. 91 Walker St.

Wyndhurst Manor & Club: This is a beautiful resort just outside of Lenox. It has a spa, golf course and elegant rooms. Also on the luxury side is Wheatleigh, a hotel and restaurant located in a lovely estate from 1893.

Another Luxury property Blantyre, is located in a Tudor-style mansion and estate built in 1902.  It is member of Relais & Châteaux and is an award-winning, luxury Forbes Five-Star resort, featuring elegant guest accommodations, a spa, casual and fine dining options as well as activities including tennis, hiking, and croquet. It is now also the home of  Café Boulud at Blantyre by famed, Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud.  He uses fresh and local ingredients to create French classics with a twist. From July 1 to mid-October, it will be open to the public for dinner Wednesday through Sunday, and weekend brunch service.

Canyon Ranch: I am a Canyon Ranch Member and have been going to Tucson every year for over 30 years. I have been to their Lenox property several years ago over New Years. It is more formal than Tucson as it is located in the stunning Bellefontaine Mansion. The Mansion was built in 1897 and has been a private home and seminary. It was renovated and opened as the second Canyon Ranch location in 1989. The spa was recently renovated and updated again in 2022. It is a lovely place to recharge!! You can stay and also take advantage of Tanglewood and all that the Berkshires has to offer.
