There are some great hotel options in  Downtown Denver from Capitol Hill and North Capitol Hill to LoDo and the RiNo Arts District. Our top hotel choices include:

The Brown Palace Hotel: I finally got to see this historic hotel as I have heard about it for years. Though a little out of LoDo this is a hotel that is closer to the Denver Art Museum and the State Capitol building. It opened in 1892 and is still on many top hotel lists. Attached to The Brown Palace by skybridge is the Holiday Inn Express Downtown Denver. You might stay here if you are on a budget and still be connected to the hotel for its amenities. Friends recommend going for live Jazz in the lobby or the Ship Tavern after dinner.
