I spent time in the trendy, edgy Meatpacking District in Vesterbro where many new and trendy places are opening. Here you will find art galleries, bars and restaurants.
There are several art galleries to visit including V1 Gallery, Galleri Bo Bjerggaard and DASK.
The Meapacking District also offers a broad range of restaurants. Try the organic BioMio, wine and dine at Paté Paté, Nose2Tail, Mesteren-Laerlingen or enjoy fresh fish at Kødbyens Fiskebaren. Fiskebaren is on the list for my next trip. It comes highly recommended for excellent seafood. The decor is very industrial and contemporary.
The district is known for a vibrant nightlife with Jolene and Bakken right next to each other.
