Located inland around five miles from Bodega Bay is a small town of Bodega, CA. It was made famous in Alfred Hitchcock’s movie, The Birds.
Make sure to see the old school house looking over downtown, now a private home, that was featured in the movie.
Bodega Country Store: At 17190 Bodega Highway, stop in to see their collection of Hitchcock and “The Birds” pictures and memorabilia.
The Casino Bar and Grill: Recommended by my brother and his wife, this is a dive bar and pool hall that has guest chefs prepare excellent food. The atmosphere is casual and fun. 1700 Bodega Highway.
