Hudson has some great small boutique hotels, B&B’s and inns from which to stay and explore the area. Unfortunately the inn where I stayed and several other popular inns have recently closed.
Other good options in town include:
The Howard Hotel at 216 Warren St.
The Mount Merino Manor B&B is also highly rated. It is located in a home from 1870 on 100 wooded acres outside of town.
Both the NY Times and Travel + Leisure recently liked the newly opened Rivertown Lodge at the top of Warren St. (#731)
I also just learned about the new WM. Farmer and Son Boarding & Barroom at 120 S. Front. Street. This boutique property has beautifully designed rooms and a restaurant, bar and coffee shop.
The Wick Hotel is a contemporary boutique option in town that is a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott. 41 Cross St. It also has a restaurant and lobby bar.
The Maker Hotel is a new addition to downtown Hudson. It is a very stylish boutique property which “features work from local Hudson valley craftsmen, global artisans, one of kind vintage pieces and an extensive art collection that truly celebrates the world of makers.” It also has a cafe, restaurant and lounge. 302 Warren. St.
