There are some great spots in Dublin for coffee, ice cream, chocolates, French macarons and more, while you explore the city:
Laduree Dublin: Located on the corner of Wicklow and S. William Streets, this branch of the famed Parisian patisserie is known for its wonderful macarons. You can also get coffee or enjoy afternoon tea. The salted caramel macarons are my favorite. 1-3 S. William St.
Butlers Chocolate Cafe, 24 Wicklow St.: I enjoyed this cafe for coffee and wonderful chocolates. You get one piece with each drink purchased! They have a number of locations throughout Dublin including train stations and the Dublin airport.
Kaph, at 31 Drury St., is a small, fun coffee bar. Also getting great reviews and winning several local competitions is Proper Order Coffee Co. at 7 Haymarket, Smithfield. Clement & Pekoe is also recommended for coffee, tea and pastries at 50 S. William St.
Powerscourt Center: This mixed use project has several fun cafes for coffee and a snack. The Pepper Pot also features coffee drinks, tea, sweets plus sandwiches, bagels, salads and breakfast items.
Murphy’s Ice Cream: This is a small ice cream shop with wonderful flavors. I loved the coffee ice cream made with a touch of Jameson’s Irish Whiskey. 27 Wicklow St. They have other locations in Dingle, Galway and Killarney.
