Our recent hotel finds include:
Fitzwilliam Hotel: This is an attractive contemporary, boutique hotel in central Belfast near City Hall. I enjoyed my room, the concierge service and the breakfast buffet. I was able to easily walk to restaurants and local pubs. It is also right around the corner from the Aircoach bus stop for service to Dublin and Dublin airport. It is located on Great Victoria street next to the Opera House.
Merchant Hotel: This is an elegant, five star hotel in downtown Belfast in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter. It is located in a building from the 1850’s that was the former headquarter of the Ulster Bank. If you don’t stay there at least stop in for a drink or afternoon tea in the lovely Great Room Restaurant.
