There are so many articles touting the city of Antwerp that I had to go. What a great spot. All of the raves are definitely true. There is great old architecture, great new architecture, boutique hotels, trendy cafes and restaurants and wonderful art, all with really outstanding style.Make sure to check out my top recommendations. Though I feel time in Brussels and Bruges is definitely warranted, I really liked it better here. It is also a great walking city.
It is an easy train trip from Brussels or Bruges.
The first thing I did was to buy an Antwerp City Card which allowed me free admission to the museums and churches after paying one fee. You can find it at the Tourist Office on the main square.
