There are some very good dining options in Spring Green.

Riverview Terrace Cafe: This is a seasonal, fine dining restaurant in the Taliesin visitors center overlooking the river below. The setting is lovely and it is the only restaurant designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. I had a great pheasant entree with lovely sauce, rice pilaf and vegetable while enjoying a spectacular sunset. 5607 Highway C.

Freddie Valentine’s Public House is now Last Leaf Public House. Under the same ownerthip, this a fun restaurant and pub in an historic bank building in downtown Spring Green. It has a great atmosphere and features flatbread pizzas, smoked bbq meats, salads, craft beers and cocktails. 114 West Jefferson.

Arcadia Books: This is a local, independent bookstore at 102 E. Jefferson. The Paper Crane Coffeehouse inside the store offers tea, coffee, baked good, sandwiches and soups and salads.

Arthur’s Supper Club: Well known for steaks and seafood since 1966. Highways 14 and 23.

Other spots to check out include Spring Green General Store for breakfast and lunch and The Shed Restaurant for local beers and American comfort food.
