To the East of downtown is Evergreen Brick Works, a former brick works or factory that has been turned into a community environmental center. You can tour the old factory, see interesting graffiti, tour an art exhibition, shop at the store featuring local items or catch a film in the evening. You can also walk, hike or bike along the river. On weekends there is a farmers market, cooking classes and other family-oriented activities.
