With the growth of the Mass Ave. corridor, in Indianapolis, with new restaurants and residential units, there have come some new great shops and boutiques. I loved walking from the top all the way downtown to E. New York St. Make sure to check out:
Modern Homespun Handmade: Located at 869 Massachusetts Ave., Modern Homespun Handmade Features handmade goods from bath and body care, jewelry, handbags, apparel, accessories, art prints, books, housewares, artisanal foods and baby clothes and toys.
Art Bank Gallery: Located in an historic bank building, this is a gallery showing works by over 20 local artists. My favorite part is the Book Nook, located in the former bank vault, that features a selection of books by local authors. 811 Massachusetts Ave.
Boomerang Boutique: This is a colorful women’s boutique offering clothing gift items and, accessories from jewelry and bags. 845b Massachusetts Ave.
Stout’s Footwear: Located t 318 Massachusetts Ave. since 1886, this is a fun shoe store featuring a large number of shoes for men, women and children.
