The new Loft Hotel just north of the old town, in Bratislava, has beautifully decorated, contemporary rooms and a very attractively designed micro-brewery and restaurant. Their cafe and wine bar is also lovely. I liked the personable staff and really enjoyed my stay. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the old city. Stefanikova 4
The five-star Arcadia Hotel at Frantiskanska 3 looks like a nice, more traditional boutique hotel. They do have a spa and pool. It is a Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice Award Winner. Also getting good marks is the traditional Marrol’s Boutique Hotel at Tobrucka 4.
