Breckenridge has many newer and larger hotels, lodges, inns and condos to stay in while there. When I was there I wanted something downtown, with some local charm, so I chose the Abbett Placer Inn at 205 S. French St., a charming B&B located in a fully restored and recently renovated Victorian home. Unfortunately it has since closed. But there are many other options in town.

I have done some research and have found very good reviews for The Hyatt Residence Club at Main Street StationThe Lodge at Breckenridge with great views and One Ski Hill Place, a RockResort, with condominium rentals, a bowling alley and several dining options. I will check them out on my next trip to the area.

One my recent trip, I did visit Gravity Haus Breckenridge. Unfortunately, it was booked the night that I was in town. This is part of a boutique hotel group with locations throughout Colorado along with Jackson Hole, WY, Moab, UT and Truckee, CA. Memberships are available for purchase  where members enjoy unlimited access to premium amenities including a top-tier fitness center, wellness programs, a private bar, co-working spaces and more.

In Breckenridge there is Dryland Fitness, Unravel Coffee off the lobby and their  rustic upstairs restaurant, Cabin Juice.  It is in a great location for exploring downtown and is at the base of Peak 9 for skiing. 605 S. Park Ave.
